New Public Art Series Showcases Young Professional Artists in the Short North Viewpoints Launches February 28, 2014

The Short North Alliance and 11 partner galleries and art institutions are excited to launch the second iteration of the highly popular Short North Mini-Mural Series on Friday, February 28 with openings at each participating gallery along High Street.

The series is supported by a generous grant from Mayor Michael B. Coleman and the Create Columbus Commission who will kick off the launch with a few words and some networking at Brandt-Roberts Galleries at 6pm.

Virtually all of the artists will be onsite for the opening at each participating gallery to share their insights on what it means to be a young professional working artists in Columbus, Ohio. Each artists' mural will be displayed on outside walls throughout the Short North, and a map will be provided to make your way through the murals and galleries on your walking tour.

Join YPC to support Columbus' creative YPs and learn what it takes to be a young working professional with a creative spirit!

Opening words from the Mayor and Create Columbus Commission at Brandt-Roberts Galleries
6:00-8:00pm: YP Artists will be stationed at each gallery throughout the Short North to talk with guests. A map will be provided.
