As key stakeholders in Columbus' future, Young Professionals have a responsibility to ensure their opinions and perspectives are heard in important community conversations and decisions. On November 5, 2013, we have an important community decision regarding Issues 50 and 51. Either we can vote NO to maintain the status quo of our schools or vote YES to invest in the future of our city by reforming our education system.

On Monday, November 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gateway Film Center, the Create Columbus Commission in partnership with the United Way of Central Ohio, Columbus Young Professionals Club, The Ohio State University's Undergraduate Student Government, and Columbus Urban League, are hosting a reception with President Emeritus Dr. E. Gordon Gee to discuss what Issues 50 and 51 mean to young professionals and college students in the City of Columbus. There will be a brief program at 6:45 p.m. followed by an open discussion about the issues. All young professionals and college students in Columbus are invited to attend and be part of the conversation.

Prior to the event on Monday, November 4, please take a moment to RSVP here.
